Oven made and hot all the way to the last bite! Several crust and topping options. Super fast service. Informative staff. Cheap and fulfilling. Build your own option for only 8.95 (airport pricing). Several drink options. Fries available. Seating area.
I didn't want to eat anything in Terminal E, and, when I saw some reviews for Blaze, I decided to take the skyway to Terminal A and try it out. It was definitely worth the trip! You design your own pizza for about 9 dollars with whatever toppings you want, and it's fired in front of you--none of this hours old pizza. Not only that, but it tastes great! Definitely a great price for a good pizza--not just for airport food.
Food: I had a custom built pizza with a regular crust - pepperoni, mushrooms, spinach, cherry tomatoes, red onion. It was excellent. It is not NYC gourmet, but it is also not your basic pizza joint and basic pizza. This is better and is quite enjoyable. The regular crust is on the thinner side. It's under $9 for your own pie. I don't eat like a bird, and this was more than enough. I only wanted more because it was flavorful????
The first employee was quite pleasant but the ending guy who slices your pie was not as pleasant. Maybe he couldn't hear what I was asking. Oh well, not an issue. I'd still go back.
I’ve been to Blaze many times across different locations and I’ve always loved it. Their dough and ingredients are always consistently great, but this particular location was outstanding in terms of service. The staff was extremely friendly, humorous, and the way they spoke with all the customers in line was great to witness. The price is also very reasonable for an airport location, with build-your-own any topping pizza. $7.40 for a whole pizza, or $8ish for a half pizza + side salad. Definitely give it a try!
The pizzas were great. So much more affordable for a family of 5 to share 2 pizzas than buy 5 combo meals/ kids meals from a hamburger place. Cool concept of making the pizzas in front of you while you watch. The kids loved it.
