The service here is outstanding. The place has a nice feel to it. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.

Had the patty melt, was really good. The big breakfast that my wife got was massive, and everything tasted great. Service with a smile, and I think the meals were out within about 10 minutes. Will definitely come back

Ordered the omlette based on a recommended here. Overall a good meal. The coffee was weak, as others have said. Our hashbrowns were 1/2 burnt & we had to pick out the unburnt potato . Pancakes were tasty & better than the franchises. Service e was attentive.

I love the omelette at this diner. It's not the typical diner style omelette that's cooked on the griddle. My typical omelette order is for a tomato and cheese omelette. Most diners I have visited the eggs end up overcooked and kind of rubbery and not at all tender. This omelette was perfectly tender and still a bright yellow without any browning. I have been back here several times over several months to see if it was just a one time thing, it has been great every time. Their cook definitely knows how to make a great omelette.

I've been to the other branch a few times but this was my first visit to the Kirkwood location. Just as good as the original; a little smaller, but the same great menu and friendly staff. You have lots of options and can trend healthier with egg whites and fruit or keep it to the original diner experience with full grease and hashbrowns! I don't love the coffee at either location - it's a bit weak and tasteless - but it's truly about the only complaint I would have. A good weekend hangout spot.
