Sesame Hut

Glad Sesame Hut is back in business since NW mall closed down. Hot & Spicy chicken is my favorite, staff members are friendly, and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!!

Good for decent price. Owner was very kind and told us that the fried mushroom was not available because the product was a little old so he was throwing them out. Recommended onion rings which were great!. Nice customer service

Very good food, I recommend the number 8. The people who work there are very nice and always give us extra onion rings. Support local businesses and give it a try.

Northwest Mall's unsung hero when it was part of their food court before the mall closed down completely. I was so happy to hear Sesame Hut had opened anew. Such a rush of nostalgia seeing the glow of their neon sign illuminate the restaurant within. The hot wings, onion rings, and fried rice are absolutely delicious. Every plate you order is loaded with savoriness. I highly recommend going here.

I have a soft spot for hole in the wall Chinese takeout spots. To be honest, Sesame Hut is a little bit disappointing. The service is excellent but the food is only average at best. I say this only because the restaurant does not cook their food on a wok range. I ordered the general tso's chicken the last time I came and it was not what I was expecting in a Chinese take out. The chicken was sauteed on a regular stove top burner. Points for free bag of onion rings but it does not make up for the fact that a wok burner is a requirement for good take out Chinese food.

There are better options in the area. I personally cannot recommend.
