JCI Grill

I always enjoy the food here. The staff is attentive. There is one AA female that works here she is a stand out. I wish I remembered her name. I was there one time b4 this visit she was working alone she ran the drive thru & dining area. She is a pro.

It was clean and crew was polite, but the portions are small and priced too high. There was some sort of Tater Tot Bake that was basically just liquid cheese dribbled over tots that weren't even fresh from the frier.

This is the best one in the Houston area. I've been to James Coney Island all over the city. I'm lucky to live in Humble and have one so close to me

James Coney Island in Houston made my fathers favorite bowl of chili and chili dog and still makes my favorite chili cheese dog. The hot dogs under the legacy menu packed with their traditional menu are still the best for me. They have expended the menu quite a bit since my Dad went, probably to better support some of the suburban locations they have spread to from downtown. I still try to stop in whenever I am coming through town and I have successfully indoctrinated my son with the same appreciation my Dad and I have.

The hot dogs were a bit tough. The restaurant may need to consider cooking them a bit longer. Also, I was a little disappointed with the portion sizes.

Aside from that, everything was good! I would like to specify that I found the dining room and restroom to be very clean! Good job on that!
