I ordered steak tips and fried rice. The fried rice was ok, but the steak tips were very good. The fried egg rolls we're nice and crispy. I think I'll go back again whenever I get a midnight craving for fried rice and egg rolls again. Little pricey tho.

I love this place .... Love the Char Sui (BBQ pork) you can pick the piece you want from the hooks as well as duck and chickens. Make sure you have cash for the meat take out. They only take credit cards on the Restaurant side. The beef Hong Kong noodles are good as well.

Great food! Good prices, and good portions. Place is what you would expect for high volume, late night restaurant. A little rough around the edges but the food makes up for some of it.

Offers good Chinese food. I was taken there by a friend who has good taste in foods. I personally can't distinguish authenticity of Chinese food. Overall experience was good, and I liked the flavors.

I've been going to Sinh Sinh from when it was a tiny restaurant located inside of Diho Square and then finally moving to a much bigger location and then finally got bought out by the current management.

Once upon a time, I much preferred going to Sinh Sinh than I do Tan Tan because in my opinion, the food and the service were superior to Tan Tan. These days, however, the quality of the food is just not the same as it used to.
One of my favorite dishes: sizzling steak is inconsistent in quality. Some days it's great, some days the steak could be really chewy and tough.
Their salt-toasted squid, however, is still one of the better ones in Houston. At the very least, I can say that it's much better than Mai's in midtown.
Their grilled chicken over rice was my go-to meal at one point, but now it seems like they give you tons of rice and no meat. For this reason, I go to Tan Tan and get their B1 item on the menu.

Unlike Tan Tan, however, I usually come to Sinh Sinh for a family style dinner or lunch when my family comes to visit Houston. Service hasn't been good for as long as I can remember - at least from the time the original owners sold this restaurant. But hey, good service in Chinatown is pretty rare anyway, right?

I'm still gonna dine here, but only when my family visits and they want to dine at Sinh Sinh.
