I normally don't eat out during the week but came here on a whim. Turns out that this place has some good food and a nice view. For 16 bucks, I got a steak cooked medium rare and two sides

It’s been well over 2 years since visiting and this time service and food was definitely more enjoyable than last! We came around 6pm for steak night. Wasn’t busy yet and it was a nice day so we sat in the patio. Our waitress greeted ya right away and took our order. Definitely quicker service! Had a few drinks while waiting for our food. We got 2 orders of steak both medium rare and all the toppings. I got loaded baked potato and tater tots for my sides and my friend got grilled veggies & a salad. Much healthier option than mine! Haha yeah. Steaks were well seasoned and large portion. However, my steak was not hot at all. It was room temperature. Odd because I mean no one wants to eat cold steak. Other than that, everything tasted fine. Portions were huge so I just took mine Togo. I’ll be back again whenever I’m craving steaks! Pretty cheap and good deal!

The Hideaway is a Houston Iconic location for Galleria and Financial District creatures to go and ACTUALLY unwind. Been going here for years, actually now decades, I guess. Yikes! Everyone knows me but no one KNOWS me....no one asks me for anything when I come here just to be "no one"...which was the point. Great place, great people, great food and great music. You cannot go wrong here!-B
