Akashi

We love this place. It is classy and the ambiance is nice. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable.
I will say that we came on Valentine’s Day afternoon well before the rush and we were told there would be an hour wait even though the place was all but empty- because there was a lot of reservations for later. I was a restaurant hostess for years and I can tell you it makes zero sense to make people wait until it is busier. We would have been done and gone before the Valentine’s Day rush. Obviously we went elsewhere and that’s what happened.
So that was handled terribly but our other experiences with Akashi were delightful so I will not begrudge them a star.

Great place to go for sushi and other Oriental food. Servers are prompt and polite. I recommend this place folks...

I LOVE their food. Seriously can't get enough of it. Their menu is endless and they have great choices to choose from. It's very clean, their atmosphere is great, and the food has always been amazing. My husband and I go there as often as possible, especially since it is conveniently located.

I worked here when they first opened. Everything is delicious- from the traditional Chinese food to the amazing sushi rolls. It’s a very modern, nicely decorated restaurant. The restaurant is very large, and the large menu kind of makes for confusion for patrons and servers. Hopefully they’ve works the kinks out because the food is very good.
