Blue Onyx Bistro

I was looking for somewhere new to try and stumbled across this restaurant on Opentable. The photo's of the food looked good and the reviews were very positive so we booked a table for 8:15. We arrived early so we could check out the bar which can sit around 8 -10 people. The bar tender was very friendly and as we sat there the owner/chef introduced himself with a complementary tuna & watermelon started which was excellent. The restaurant is spacious and they have a private wine room for larger parties. It has a very modern look with interesting lighting. Now to the main reason why we went. The seafood menu. I started with the ravioli which was amazing followed by the sea bass which was perfectly cooked. There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try so we will be back for more tastings............This place should be on your list if you like seafood/pasta or sushi....and I forgot to mention, the prices are very affordable.

The restaurant is beautiful with blue light from sconces and contemporary chandeliers.
The food is beautifully plated with a Asian fusion character. The Chef walks around and checks on each table.
We ate sticky ribs, Grier cheese pastry, rib eye steak, sea bass and fried shrimp in our party of four. Each item was just outstanding in presentation and taste.
The wait staff were respectful and we're at the table when needed and disappeared with a slight bow.
This is dining beautifully executed.

Had a business lunch with two colleagues. Food was delicious. Everyone loved their meals. Sizzling salmon literally arrived sizzling table side. Red snapper was delicious and plentiful for lunch price. Lunch menu items were at good prices. I will definitely return.

Wonderful place. The food is amazing and so was the service. The owner is very friendly and funny. Was A great birthday dinner. Oh and get the drink " Comfortably Numb" delicious!

Thank you for a fabulous Birthday dinner for my daughter Erica. The food, the service, the atmosphere was first class. Our waitress Stephanie was always attentive and very personable. Everyone enjoyed their meals which were beautiful presented as well as delicious. They set up our flower centerpiece and cake in a semi private area in the patio and the management made sure to check on us and light our cake. Awesome beautiful interior.
