I experienced unusual service

I found this place on a whim a few months back, but it's been my saving grace for dinner! Love, love their chicken biryani. Affordable, quick, and huge portions. As someone had mentioned below, this hole-in-the-wall place is better for take out rather than dining in.

The chicken bihari boti is very tasty there

Delicious Pakistani cuisine in a place that looks, from the outside, like a hole-in-the-wall. This was my first time eating Pakistani food, prepared Halal (similar to Jewish kosher).

The Pakistani counter person explained the menu in broken English, where most of the dishes were prepared with curry and Pakistani spices. I don't like spicy food & asked about mild dishes. He suggested a mild mutton (lamb) and rice dish, which was delicious. It was served with a side salad of iceberg lettuce, sliced onions, a lemon wedge and a small dish of pesto and creamy dressing. My friend had the spicy chicken kabobs, and they were SPICY, even for him! He seemed to enjoy them, tho he took very small bites and drank plenty of water to handle the heat.

Service was pretty much unobtrusive, even invisible much of the time. We had the restaurant to ourselves as there were about 11 tables with 4 chairs at each one. There were 2 newsstands with the Pakistani Chronicle and a local paper. All in all a decent experience.
