La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

You can tell this place is family owned the moment you walk into the triple front doors. The crowd tends to be old but that's not a bad thing. The staff is very friendly with kids and if you're looking for a margarita to end your work day, then you've found a great low priced cozy spot. It's very strange seeing the candy you would normally find in another restaurant on the way out the door with a price tag on it though. Currently Memorial is under some pretty serious construction so plan accordingly, but if you are looking for a place to settle before the end of the night then it's definitely a good spot to check out.

Delicious! Don't let the ongoing construction deter you, the doors here is worth the aggravation. I had a vegetarian quesadilla - it was wonderful. My companions enjoyed their meals as well - clean plates all around.

This is a family favorite of ours! We've been coming here for over twenty years now and we love it for the value, delicious traditional Tex Mex, and margaritas! I would have given it 5 stars except they have changed their skinny margarita mix and it now tastes like soapy water to me. But no complaints from those of us who still enjoy the regular margaritas. Great place to grab a quick bite!

For 40 years this was by far the BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN HOUSTON. Great service, good food, reasonable prices...the last visit noticed two big changes, prices have recently increased and portion sizes decreased by at least 20% percent...and unfortunately the food ingredients seemed to slide too. Hopefully, they can at least addess the food quality soon.
