We love the Drunken bread with the sauce and melted goat cheese. We can't go to Crisp without ordering it. Most of the staff are super. The only thing we don't like about Crisp is if you sit outside, parents bring their kids and let them run around like a bunch of wild ones. We were sitting away from the covered area and a gang of kids would run by screaming, kicking dirt, literally pulled one of the planted trees out of the ground and then chased all the kids with the bush trying to whip them with the branches, and the last thing we tolerated was them putting their hands in the fountain and splashing water which we happen to be sitting next to...(btw, the fountain has nasty water in it). This is a public restaurant and I didn't pay to have to listen to screaming kids. We had to complain to the management that the kids were pretty much ruining our meal. If I had done this as a kid at a restaurant...guaranteed my parents would have spanked me. Other than that we love Crisp. Food is fantastic
The vegetarian plate was good. It had pita bread, tomato, cucumber, onion, and yogurt salad along with chick pea balls. Seemed more like a good place to go for some beers than lunch. Not busy on a Tuesday afternoon.
From the unique name to it's hidden location a restaurant worth finding. Good first date place, or if you'd prefer an intimate setting, you won't be disappointed. Take your time with the menu cause if you're in a hurry you might miss something. Our server was attentive and had a friendly smile. Oh yeah, plenty of room indoors and out, especially if you're in a wheelchair.
