Banh Somtum

Since I've moved to Houston, I had been looking for for a restaurant serving proper Thai food and this was it! Delicious food, quick service and great prices.

This place but amazing and priced great. There were more than enough Noddles and I asked for extra chives and cilantro and no extra charges! Also I got the spice at level 2 and it was just the right kick, so if you like "cry inside" spicy, the level 5 will do you in. The broth was great, super flavorful. Definitely a hidden gem. Sorry this review was all over the place, but as I remembered I wrote!!!

Anytime I go eat this is where I want to be. This is honestly the most delicious authentic Laos/Thai food there is around. I really appreciate the hard work the cooks put into making the food so tasty! The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is so comfortable, and the owners are the most humbled people you could meet. I love this place so much! I just want them to stay open at this location until I die!!! ???????????????? I drive all the way from Cypress to eat here..... Everything is delicious! This is a hidden little Jewel that most people don't even know about. Thank you Banh Somtum for always making my experience here such a great one!!!

Glad I was introduced to this place, I love it. They really know how to make a dish spicy and flavorful, I always get the 5 on the spicy scale, be prepared to cry a bit. Great place for getting many dishes to share. I recommend the papaya salad, wings, and sausage. Definitely try this place out. And get the Thai tea.
