Alice Blue

Excellent food. Superior service and friendly staff. Deviled eggs are wonderful! Nothing we ate was less than perfection! I highly recommend this restaurant and chef!

Disappointing. The salad was mostly made of lettuce (can have that at home!) and way too much dressing. The red snapper was excellent but the mash potato was very oily and the vegetables were actually just a couple of greasy carrots. Small portions. Surdough bread was good but overbaked (burnt crust). Good service. Would love to go back as we live close by but overpriced for what we got.

This was our second visit to Alice Blue and it was a wonderful experience. Seriously, everyone in the Heights needs to make this a staple of their finer dining experiences. The cocktails are excellent, the appetizers delightful, and the entrees filling and delicious. They even have half price bubbles on Thursdays (which was a lovely surprise on Valentine's Day 2019). On cooler nights, they have a nice alley patio for outdoor dining, to give a hint of European flair. From the waitstaff to the wine glasses, I can't say enough good things about Alice Blue. Go! You won't regret it.

My husband and I just moved to the Heights from New York. The food and the service is amazing! I had the snapper and my husband had the cheeseburger. The best burger and snapper we ever had here in Houston. So Good! Our waiter Johnny was great he has a great personality.

Excellent service and food. Had dinner there last night and really enjoyed it. We started with the grilled eggplant and dates wrapped in bacon for appetizers. Both were delicious. For dinner, I had the tagliatelle and my wife had the duck breast. Again, both were excellent. The service was top notch. Very attentive but not rushed. And, the noise level is moderate so you can actually carry on a conversation with the person you’re with! Will definitely go back.
