A colleague suggested we try Miller's for lunch today -- best hamburgers in Houston, they claimed. We were not disappointed.
The burgers were large, juicy, flavorful and priced well. I got the Blue Cheese Burger and there was plenty of Blue Cheese on it!
My fries were unsalted (allowing me to make them perfect) but just the right color and texture.
My colleague's burger seemed to lack something, but he couldn't put a name to it. The chili fries, however, were fantastic -- something that he'd definitely return for.
Great, locally-owned burger joint. Sort of a "small town" charm with plenty of seating, old fashioned decor and simple menu. All manner of burgers. We ordered mostly cheeseburgers and fries, tea and water. Everything came out correctly and hot. Burgers were pretty generously sized, juicy, well seasoned, with fresh, crisp toppings. Fries were great. Employees were polite and efficient. We went for a late dinner but understand it is really busy at lunch. I can understand why.
Great burgers, prices and atmosphere! The sweet potato fries are my favorite and I love their pride in having the "almost famous burger". Very cool NASA pictures and decor, along with the huge coolers of beer. We are here at least once a week and bring our family/friends when they come to visit.
Great burgers that they hand press on site. Onion rings were delicious. Prices might be a little higher then people would want or expect for a burger place but I was not disappointed for the quality.
I was surprisingly happy with this place. It has that feel of being mom/pop type place. The line moved a good amount slower than I am used to, but everything was cooked fresh. I was impressed with how quickly the cook was putting together orders! I was at first surprised that with the cost of my chosen burger, fries went seperatly.
After ordering, you grab your cup and find a table. When your order is ready, they bring it out to you. My burger was HUGE! now I understand why the fries are separate and the burger was a bit over $8! After a burger that big, you may not have room in your stomach for fries!
I really enjoyed the flavor of my burger (I got the "miller's killers" burger that had BBQ sauce, bacon and grilled onions on it) the meat was very nice in every way. I'll definitely be a return customer!
