Five Guys was a great experience today. The best fries around here and a great burger place as well.
I stopped here again today and had some great peanuts along with a bacon burger. As always it was fresh and hot. A truck load of fries to share a a root beer to bring back childhood memories. I especially love the fact that nothing here is frozen and they don’t even have freezers.
Great service and Amazing double cheese burger and fries, my wife and I slide in here after our usual spot was bursting at the seams. A good change.of pace.
The burgers we're good but I had actually gone for the fries because I remembered how much we loved them when we were in Oklahoma. Sadly this time they didn't live up to the expectation, even the seasoning wasn't that great either. I miss those fries. I'll probably go again and hope the fries get better next time we go.????
I ordered a cheeseburger with mushrooms, mayonnaise, onions and a drink and price came up to about $7. Very cheap meal for such a delicious burger! I really love the way the burger melted into my mouth and it wasn't so heavy either. The serving of fries were very generous too, a regular was enough for the 4 of us. The place was quiet at Sunday 8pm and the decor is your typical fast food restaurant.
It was good! I like that there isn't a "basic" burger and that you just create everything to your own preference. The burger I ordered was delicious (I mean, of course it was it literally only had stuff on it that I wanted) and cooked expertly. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint is the "bang for my buck". The prices are certainly higher than their competitors and I can get much more elsewhere. I got a burger (single patty; no cheese) and fries for $11. I could get double the food and a drink at a fast food place for arguably the same quality. I didn't get anything "special" from my experience at 5 Guys.
That said, the food was good :)
