Abe's Cajun Market

Order and pay at the counter then collect your drink, silverware, and napkins at the sidebar put your number in the holder on the table and they bring your food to you. The food was good, although the seasoning was not quite my favorite. I will go again.

They have absolutely the best seafood gumbo broth/base/roux whatever I've ever had in Houston, I just wish they added fresh seafood to it, like oysters and fresh jumbo shrimp as opposed to just tiny packaged frozen twirpy shrimps. But its still way worth it to get and my favorite thing on the menu.

Everything here is fresh, made in house and tastes delicious, unlike a lot of pumped out commercial restaurant food, which tends to usually lack any depth or flavor. You can just tell everything on the menu at Abe's is worth trying and won't disappoint.

We have been reluctant to patron this place for a while. Service can be slow and with kids we don't always have the luxury of dining out for 2 hours. This time we gave it a shot and we were in and out in one hour. I was able to make it in time to my next stop. The food here is top notch. My favorite Cajun for miles.

Good prices. The decorations are awesome. Food is great!! Only one waitress for a lot of people but my water never ran empty. Only complaint.... the buss boy took my girls food before she was done. Just kind of took it and left. But other than that it was legendary
