4 captive airport food this isn't that bad. Hyper expensive of course but pretty good food in adequate portion sizes, given the outrageous amounts of money they charge. Of course they have to charge this much because the government sees airports as a captive population they could be forced to Fork over money to the state, by forcing the vendors to charge outrageous prices because they have tremendously large licensing fees to be allowed to be at the airport. So next time you cursing Airport Restaurant, remember that it's the actual local city or county that is reaping the rewards of your overpriced meal.
I visited The Breakfast Klub after seeing a long line outside it every Sunday morning on the way to South Main Baptist Church, so I figured it had to be good. Little did I know, this is a Houston classic. The best breakfast food I've ever had was at this little hole in the way outside of Vatican City in Rome. This was my second favorite, and it was close. Usually a place has one or two items they do particularly well, but every person in our party couldn't stop talking about each and every item on their plate. If I could give The Break Klub 6/5 stars, I would. A+
I had an early morning flight and had time for breakfast for a change. The veggie omelette was really good, toast had a funny smell like it was sitting out by old grease though. Service was good. Overall good not great.
Food and service were great. Coffee was really lousy. Weak and lifeless. The server was awesome and I had pork chops and eggs. Great food. Make a decent cup of coffee and you'll be off the charts.
I always enjoy the food. This was my first time dining at the airport location the food was just as good and the portion size was the same as if you were dining at the original breakfast klub. The staff was friendly, but I imagine they owner wouldn't have it any other way. Keep doing what you are doing Marcus.
