la Madeleine

This is my favorite La Madeleine in town. I am taking a star out because in about 25% of my visits over the last 15 years I get barely warm french roast coffee and need to request fresh hot coffee be put out (self service). I wonder if there is some sort of coffee receptacle out there with a beeping thermometer to indicate the attendants that is time to bring that fresh good hot coffee. Other than that all is good and the staff seem to manage well under pressure.

This location is so great. We have gone here many times and no matter how busy it gets, somehow we always find seating. Staff is always very helpful. Their bread and pastries are the best. Definitely a spot where you can have a relax meal and forget about the world for a bit.

Love going to this place! Country French, my ancestry, is a refuge from the uncoordinated mix of city living pressures, and puts one in a most comfortable state of homey ambiance. Tha grub ain't bad either! Seriously, la Madeline is my favorite stop for meals or just coffee, and the best pastries outside of France.

Always had la Madeleine by ordering through door dash. always loved the selection I got. BUT!!!!! I recommend going in person! the restaurant is very nice and makes you feel at home. the atmosphere makes you feel like your eating in one big happy family. I took my family for breakfast and my child fell head over heels for their desserts. Wife loved caramel cappuccino. I give two thumps up for the quiche loraine! great taste. reasonably priced as well. well come back and continue ordering from door dash.

I love ❤️ this place!!! In the mornings I usually opt for the Ham & Cheese danish, Chocolate almond croissant ???? or the Quiche Florentine. Desserts I love are the Napoleons, fruit cup, lemon tarts, chocolate almond tarts, and creme brûlée. Service is excellent every day except Monday. I went there and it took about 5-10 minutes to complete my order because it appeared they were late setting up. Tuesday through Friday is a breeze, speedy, and fun.
