It's hard to believe you can get food this good at a gas station, but you can. I've been here three times since it opened, and the food is definitely very good. The owner makes all the food from scratch, including pastries and meat empanadas.

On the first visit, I tried the Stewed Beef plate. It came with black beans, rice and fried plantains. Everything was great. The cubed beef was generous and very hearty. The beans and rice were deliciously seasoned - completely different than traditional Mexican. The plantains were fried to perfection.

The second time I had the Cuban Sandwich. Ham, pulled pork, Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard on Grilled Cuban bread. Huge and absolutely delicious! It also comes with fries. for $8, it's a steal.

Today I had Tamales and a Mango shake. The tamales are a must try. They are very different than what we see around here. Mild masa with bits of corn and pulled pork, wrapped and simmered in broth for hours. Tender, juicy, fantastic. The real surprise was the Mango shake. It had a pleasing burnt sugar flavor that reminded me of creme brulee. Decadent and delicious.

The Best Cuban food in all Houston!! Authentic flavor, great taste, awesome portions!!! Now we don’t have to drive all the way to Katy anymore - the best Cuban food is only a 10 minute drive.

AMAZINGLY GOOD! The best Cuban food in town! Food always hot & fresh. They even cook the empanadas & croquettes on the spot. Y’all need to go try this place. Super clean too...
