Don Chile Mexican Restaurant

Everything was good except the waitress specifically asked if I wanted over easy, over medium or scrambled eggs. I said over medium because I HATE runny eggs! The first bit of egg white I cut away left white and clear stuff running out and into my plate, as did the rest of both eggs. When I get huevos rancheros, I ask for the salsa on the side so there's not a plate full of liquid that I'm suppose to eat with a fork and tortilla. The old me would've complained and sent them back, but my husband likes his fried eggs runny, so I gave them to him. Luckily, I got full on the beans, papas and tortillas. But, your cook needs to take a minute longer to cook my eggs if y'all want a satisfied customer. We were in no rush to leave, so there should've been no rush on getting our order out.

Good old fashion Mexican food. Service was good. Check was late.

Waiting for truck repairs, this restuarant was recommended for lunch. Very good food, great portions, good service, would return again if in area. Friday special was awesome! Thank you!

The parking is horrible. But, worth any hassle. Don't let any outward appearance fool you. The food as great and plenty and the prices are very reasonable. The waitresses may not know much English. But, they are friendly and attentive. I have eaten at many Mexi an restaurants. But, we still come here on a regular basis and always leave full and never disappointed.

We live way north of Houston in North Montgomery County but come into Houston for "big" truck parts & ALWAYS stop at Don Chilies.
