    Everytime I come here I try to bring someone new who hasn't yet tried the carriage house. I love this place. Great food at a great price and the experience is one of a kind in itself. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

    The chicken fried chicken sammy is the bomb. Price on that with water is under $10. Waitress is hot but giant rock on her hand so good luck with that.

    Feels like you are stepping into a piece of history... love the rustic atmosphere with different rooms to sit in for your meal. Well priced and huge portions; known for their chicken fried steak and homemade sides. Highly recommended for a trip back in time with a friendly staff and good food!

    A quaint, old school, cozy, comfortable location. The food is served hot and delicious. Burgers were juicy and succulent. The taters were overflowing with flavors. Try the corn nuggets!! Decorated with some unique and rare items from the old west. Texas is definitely represented here!

    Good service and perfect food. The briskit and fried okra are good. Actually the fried okra was prepared perfectly. The best I have ever found!! It is an absolute must do. The cooks are super friendly and the decor makes you think you were born too late.
    100% must do when in Houston
    We were the first in the door. That is the only reason the seating was empty.
