(January 23, 2019, 3:23 pm)Found this wonderful little gem a few months ago. Great food, service, price. Salsa is has a nice heat and spice. I love their cheese enchiladas, with probably one of the best sauce.

(January 11, 2019, 12:47 am)Been going here for YEARS!! They have the best cheese enchiladas I have ever eaten!!! The staff is always so friendly and the food is always hot.. I’ve never had to send my food back because of the temp or anything like that. I will probably go here until I die. My daughter moved to Oklahoma and when she comes down we Hve to go to El Vaquero!!! Thank you staff for always making us feel like family!!

(November 30, 2018, 11:53 pm)I've been coming here since 2005 and the food is always tasty and the service top notch. Salsa is good and spicy. Even though I no longer live in Houston I always have to eat here whenever I visit. 10/10 recommend.
