Honestly I think there is just a bunch of haters on the reviews here or they might be racist idk. But me and my husband went today and we had no issues. The food was great! And i love the place. It’s nice and clean :)

BBQ is Texas is a religion. Papas has been around long enough to know the secrets to keeping customers coming. This location is no different. Excellent service, clean new building, diligently organized. Very impressive for a new building of this size. 5/5.

So excited for the reopening. We went yesterday afternoon and the parking lot was packed. Security guards had to direct traffic. I thought they were going to turn us away but the long lines were for the drive thru. It was a long line inside, but it kept moving. It was nearly 2, so the lunch rush was winding down. The staff was on point clearing out tables. We were wanting to try the tamales, but the people ahead of us got the last ones. I got my usual baked potato with a side of beans to add to the potato.I don't know if this is new, but the beans has brisket bits in it. So good. Also tried the jalapeno cheese bread which was good. I love the mustard sauce. Needless to say our food experience was good. Hopefully the service continues to be on point.

Amazing Grand Opening Night! The restaurant was ready for a great night with their staff on all hands on deck mode. There were easily 20 staff members in the kitchen alone.

The building does an excellent job at showcasing the trade that is prepping and smoking all meats to perfection with their view window into part of the kitchen. You are able to witness the cooks inspect, oil, season, and package all raw meats prior to smoking them.

Now to the best part. THE FOOD!
The brisket is so so tender. The chicken and its seasoning is almost sweet. Even all the cold sides have an artesian taste and appearance to them. Let's not forget about the Mac and cheese. This has got to be the cheesiest Mac I've ever tasted. If you buy a plate that has no sides, buy the mac you will not be disappointed.
