Taqueria Ruby

Equally as great as the original on Huffmeister! Tacqueria Ruby is my favorite taco place and I've been a patron for nearly a decade. I moved away to Louisiana and I miss it so, so, so much.

Here's the thing. This location is not the original. The original is located on Huffmeister and had visibly been there for a long time, while this location has existed for.... 5 years? Half-guessing here. But it doesn't taste any different at all. The service is the same. The price is the same. Everything is the same.

With the added convenience of being in Jersey Village! If you like tacos, check it out! You will be pleased.

Their burrito, gorditas and tacos are still one of the best for a hole-in-the-wall place over the years. The green sauce is special too! I can't name to many good ones like it. Also, I think the portions are fair for the cost even if they have increased the price over the years but it's still reasonable. I'd rather spend my money here than taco bell, taco cabana, and freebirds. No indoor sitting place though.

Great place for breakfast tacos. Green sauce is very well made and tastes great. Highly recommend.

24 hr taco truck, The El Pastor is excellent. If your out late or just want some great street grub, this is the spot. I gladly give them my $$!
