Aburi Sushi

One of the best Japanese restaurants in the area. They are relatively new so it’s a hidden gem. The quality of sushi, nigiri, rolls and all the dishes are steps above most other Japanese restaurants in the area, a close second to Kata but with better pricing and easier to get reservations. The space and ambiance is beautiful. We frequent this place with family, have been to a birthday party here, and it’s now a family favorite of ours. I have no clue why this place is not jam packed, especially during lunch given their great lunch menu.

5 stars easy straight across. Tan was amazing. The host at the door was very polite and helpful. Tan had the best recommendations, accommodations were above and beyond and the food was delectable. Very friendly. Clean. Atmosphere 10/10. Overall experience was great. I’d highly recommend their 3 course lunch special and I will definitely be returning. Thank you so much.

Went here to celebrate my birthday back in September and it happened to be their soft opening. We have been in love with the place ever since! They were so attentive and accommodating. Mybgf has an allergy to fish but loves going to sushi restaurants with me, and they accommodated everything no questions asked! They were so nice about it too. The food is amazing, as is the presentation. I've had the nigiri tasting which was insanely good. My favorite is the Aburi Fire, though. Amazing flavor, very cool presentation. The atmosphere is very modern and nice! I will say the sound carries a bit with the rounded walls so if there's a loud squad in there it can be a lot of noise... Other than that though, this place is definitely worth the hype

I wish I was rich, so I could eat here two times a week minimum because it is a tad pricey! But the Sushi and Sashimi are by far, by far the best in all of Houston.🙌🙌🙌💯

The detailed preparation, artistic creativity and meticulous presentation are just over the top. The staff is terrific. The place looks great. Can’t say enough about it. Have not had a single disappointing bite of anything over my past four trips. Forgot, the drinks are awesome, especially the Mojito.

Can’t wait for my fifth visit. I guess, I’ll just have to sneak over by myself. After reading other reviews, they have Social Hour?? 😍😎 OMG…OMW!

I’m in love! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was very fresh tasting and I loved the little spin they put n common dishes. My friend joined me and is not typically a big sushi eater, but she loved everything as well.

The service was phenomenal. My waitress was able to give me specific recommendations based on my taste profile.

The restaurant is super cute! Perfect for a cute photo opportunity. The dress attire was super casual, but I could see myself getting cute for a date night.

This will be my new fave for a while and I recently learned that they have HH so new post coming soon!
