The food was phenomenal! And the service was excellent. So much flavor in every single bite. The steak tartar, baked oysters, and the wagyu is out of this world (don’t forget to try to zucchini au gratin, so tasty!).
In a very crowded steakhouse city, Andiron manages to stand out with a creative take on every dish. Every dish we had tasted unique and delicious. Highly recommend the wedge salad, onion tart and pommes Anna. Pro tip - be sure to get the mushrooms and dip your steak in the wine sauce. It’s so rich it takes your breath away.
Andiron has a somewhat short but very premium steak list. What sets them apart to me is how they cook their steaks. They come out with a different flavor because of the skill of the chef cooking over open fire. It does make a difference! All of the other options were excellent- from the salad to the blue fin tuna to the sides. It’s a nice blend of fresh and light to heavy and meaty. They also make some great cocktails and have a very nice wine list. I am so glad we ventured out from our go to places to get steak.
The customer service was phenomenal!! We came for happy hour and Sara was amazing! She went over the menu with us suggested drinks to our pallette and overall made our experience top notch and will be back for dinner! The hamburger pictured is only available on their happy hour menu.
My friends and I decided to spend our NYE here. It’s a classy atmosphere. It was a 5 course meal not including bread service and main course sides. It was tons of food. They did not hand out wimpy portions. The bisque was super boozy. It tasted like pure cognac. The ravioli was my favorite along with the steak. They had mashed potatoes and Swiss chard sides to share. The Swiss chard was sooo salty. I couldn’t eat them. The value was totally worth it for the quality of the food. Our service was very nice as well!
