Recently tried this place and what an interesting experience. you select your meat and they bring it to you like 70% cooked and you finish it to your liking on the grill at your table. we ordered the Spicy Chicken, spicy beef, shrimp, special beef steak, and then also ordered fully cooked items like grilled okra, yanbian noodles, steamed bun. overall the food was great and also a great experience.
favorite items spicy beef and the yanbian noodles
they have a separate halal menu for Muslims.
All the “chuan” are soooo good! Love the lamb and squid! Perfect seasoning. We had cold noodles which is my favorite while in Yanji, China, the noodle is really good but the soup is way to sour. Maybe the chef added wrong amount of vinegar, it was really super sour!
New experience for me. I’ve never had a meal like this 😂 When I was in China, I only had similar ones on the street.
-Experience was cool-
The sticks are cooked already!
We only need to put them on the moving grill for a couple minutes.
-service was amazing-
Whenever we needed anything, someone always showed up.
-food was great but a bit pricey-
Our favorite was the cold noodles.
We ordered two types of beef. I prefer the non-sweet ones. I think the sweet ones’ flavor are more towards the southern part of China.
My husband and sis in law liked the quails. (They were too spicy for me. )
We also liked the squid. Very unique texture. Somehow they tasted like seasoned sashimi.
-4 ppl for $77 🤔
(we could have eaten more & we forgot about the $5 voucher)
Overall it’s a good meal. I’d come again when I’m in town.
