Big Bertha's Barbeque and Catering

Ate here with a friend yesterday. Both of us thought the food was great. I had the brisket, sausage, beans and Mac & cheese. All were excellent! The owners were super nice & friendly! Would definitely go back here again!

I love barbecue. But not just any barbecue. I love good barbecue. It seems like that would be easy to find, but it isn't. I have chased good barbecue across Mississippi (there are a couple of good spots), Alabama (again they have a couple), Louisiana (none), Tennessee (Memphis, I love you. Several good spots) and Texas (still searching. Pecos has one and so does Austin) Enter Big Bertha's. The pulled pork melts in your mouth. You can choose moist or lean brisket that tastes fantastic. You can add any meat you want to the Big Bertha spud. So many treats and not enough time. They make an awesome spicy mustard that goes great with their BBQ sauce. If you like GREAT barbecue and you're in Houston, do not sleep on this joint. You won't be disappointed. I will be visiting several times while I'm in town.

Really great food here! Loved everything we got. the pulled pork, brisket Mac n cheese, and baked beans all excellent. & The owner was even nice enough to come out and check on us, which I thought was really sweet! Awesome food and nice people! Wish they were open on the weekends!!

I was really impressed with the Mustard Mix BBQ Sauce! This business was clean, well lit, great hospitality, with adequate space and seating. I paid $18 for my meal, ok. It took about 13 minutes to receive my meal, ok. They run out of sausage so the owner offer me ribs instead, ok. When I received my food, I thought I was on a diet. I would have liked more for the price. The sides didn't have much flavor, unless you added it. The meat, ( pulled pork, and pork ribs) was smoked. It was lightly seasoned so you had to add your own sauce or salt and pepper. I would have to rate this business a
