Spotted this unassuming food truck on the way home and was pleasantly surprised but the quality of the food.

After being in the city for over 15 years, I can easily say this is one of the best Caribbean food establishments.

Will definitely be back to try some other menu items.

This is the closest to Jamaican food I have gotten for the year that I’ve been in Houston.

This is the best Jamaican food that I have ever had in Houston. I have traveled to Jamaica many times and have eaten meals prepared by Jamaican family members, and dined at authentic restaurants in New York and always felt like Houston’s JA restaurants could never compare to any of those experiences. Chantilly definitely exceeded my expectations. We tried the Rasta pasta with shrimp and chicken. It was so fresh and well seasoned and you can taste the coconut milk in the made from scratch pasta sauce. We also tried the jerk chicken and it was well prepared and tender and had the right amount of spice. The made from scratch jerk sauce was also very delicious! The rice and peas were flavorful (it’s known to be bland at most restaurants). I usually skip the cabbage and plantains but the plantains were delicious and the cabbage was amongst the best that I have ever tried. The portions were generous and it was enough to share and enjoy leftovers. I couldn’t eat my food right away as I had to drive out to Spring plus make a stop before going home but an hour plus later the food was still warm and fresh! The chef/owner, Craig, is also very nice and patient. I can’t wait until I’m in the area again as I will be returning to try more menu items!

THE MOST DELICIOUS JAMAICAN FOOD IN ALL OF HOUSTON!!!

This made me feel like i was at home. The Caribbean food in Houston has been mid/just okay. But the oxtail and escovitch fish plate i ordered from here tasted authentic, delicious, and made with love.

I called in my order prior to arriving and had a short wait once i was there. There was lots of noise over the phone when ordering which made it hard to hear.

I am a Jamaican who moved to Houston in June of this year. My first night here, I was turned off from buying Jamaican food because it was so-so. Two days ago I saw this food truck while I was in traffic and quickly googled the location. I was excited to try it out… and let me tell you, the food DID NOT disappoint!!! The oxtail was tasty, juicy and well presented! The jerk chicken is real Jamaican style; complemented by the amazing sauce! Wheeewww! And might I add, that customer service was phenomenal!!! Don’t take my word for it… go get your own plate 😃
