This place is a gem! They had great customer service , the food only took about 5 min to come out and it was delicious. I had the coconut curry with chicken and I thought it was amazing! It’s located inside a cute and chic new building with a rooftop park so it has a great atmosphere as well. I will be coming back to enjoy this place again.

I ordered the motherland bowl. Wow! The flavor is so rich. It hit the spot on this chilly day. I loved the sweet and salty of the dish. The service was excellent. Will definitely be back for more

The Motherland bowl here isn’t food- it’s a full mind/body experience. Even with crazy crowds, loud music, and neon lighting; I sat down to eat this on a quick break and one bite made my entire physical and mental state change. This is the kind of rare dish you happen upon only a few times in your life. I would eat it everyday, but this is instead my new go-to meal when I need to reconnect with myself.

What a wonderful & magical culinary experience from the food to the warm & inviting service to the decor. Since I couldn’t decide on which dish to enjoy, I had both the Trad & the Greens & Tings. The jollof rice was spot-on with the right amount of smokiness & spice! The greens were truly on-point & the grilled steak was the star in the dish. And, I couldn’t get enough of the delicious plantains. This place is a must visit if your looking to enjoy authentic West African cuisine in a fun & casual atmosphere.

This is such a wonderful spot! The energy is so welcoming and inviting. The owner and employees are super friendly, and the music constantly had me dancing! You can really tell this food has history and intention behind it. I was so sad to be full before my bowl was empty! I will absolutely be back. 10/10 would recommend.
