Christine's Soul Food Place

One of the best soul food places in the area, I went there with my family and when I tell you the food was good my kids ate everything! Their meatloaf was really good and their sweet potatoes was amazing! The koolaid tatse like big mama made it it's so good! I can go on and on, we will definitely be back.

When I tasted the food it immediately took me back to be a little girl eating Sunday dinner at my grandmother's house innNorth Carolina. The food was so good and the lady who served was so sweet and hospitable. Definitely will be going back again????

I eat here at least once a year..I live in Midland Texas so definitely look forward to this when I'm in Houston...
Service is friendly and prompt even with a long line! The food is...Don't Go to Heaven before eating at this place! I ordered the double pork chop it was tender and the gravy was seasoned well! Do eat the Yams greens mac and cheese too while there!
The owner personally came out greeted us asked if we was pleased and then took pictures with us...
The grandson and another worker did 3 jobs at once and continued to be patient... I'll see you next year in April Christine!

Amazing, food is hot and fresh. Barbara has great customer service. The cornbread is the best. I love the smothered steak with rice. Not that ground meat patty but a real piece of steak. Mac and cheese is really good. Can’t beat the price for a home made Meal. Lemon cake is two thumbs up. Enjoy cause we did.
