Comfort Foodies

I watched this restaurant build out and hoped that it would be good as we don’t have a ton of restaurants in the area. I finally made way in for dinner last night with my family. Let me tell you…I’m so glad we did! The service was fast and the staff, including the owner was so nice. We dined in and enjoyed the following dishes which were so delicious:

-Dominican chicken+rice with green beans and greens
-Smothered pork chops with greens & rice and beans
-Banana pudding (famous!)
-Peach cobbler

We will definitely go back as we can’t wait to try their other dishes!

BEST SOUL FOOD I’VE EVER HAD outside of my grandmas and aunts! I’ve eaten at EVERY soul food place in Houston and this is BY FAR THE ABSOLUTE BEEEEESSSSSTTTTT! The flavors are unmatched! The food is slow cooked and tender. Food 10/10! Service 10/10! Ambience 10/10! Guaranteed once a week visit from me!!!

Our first experience at Comfort Foodie was awesome!! We had the lamb chops and we really liked the Caribbean flavor and spices. We also had the oxtails with collards and yams which was also off the chain.. the food is so close to home cooking… we enjoyed it and will be back!! It’s a must try 😃

I just went for my Caribbean food! The best Caribbean chicken with Moro I ever had in my life. Thank you for a delicious meal. My family really enjoyed the friendly environment. Excellent service and super clean 👌

My name is Tony, First and foremost, the inside of this establishment is beautifully put together. The Manager and employees are so welcoming. Definitely a family environment. The food is phenomenal, Outstanding and above all else …delicious. A great spot for a company get together or a family outing. Great option for a Date or quick lunch. Let’s not sleep on this Awesome restaurant!
