Cyclone Anaya's Mexican Kitchen

We enjoyed the softshell crab and shrimp tacos. The regular frozen margaritas aren't as good as some local restaurants, but that won't deter us from returning to sample some of their other menu items. Also, our service was excellent. Hat off to the staff.

This is food that you do not want to miss out on! 1.) Service is a PROBLEM here.2.) Food quality is consistanty AMAZING though. I ONLY visit any of these locations if I think I can sit at the bar (placing service right in front of you - easily accessible). Do plan on quality food. Do not plan on having your needs anticipated. You will need to be very direct and ask for exactly what you need when you have your server's attention.

I love that this place has a special menu for vegetarian and gluten free options. That is pretty rare for Mexican Food restaurants. You get a lot of food for what you pay for as well. I've gotten the veggie tacos and the fajitas and everything was super tasty.

Excellent service. The ceviche appetizer was very fresh and served with plantains. Margaritas were very tasty. Lively, casual atmosphere with bar seating as well as dining room. Parking is complementary valet.

Sunday brunch was amazing! Loved it. Salsa is addictive. $8 craft mimosas with purchase of dish on Sundays. Great atmosphere at location off Durham. Valet parking is based on tips.
