    The hospitality and warmth I felt from Maria and Carlos was... beautiful. And the food was truly the best I’ve had in Houston.

    Depana is a hidden gem of Houston!

    It was my first experience with Venezuelan food so I may not be the best judge. But, as far as flavors and textures go, it was excellent! I had the Madurado and the plantain was a nice balance to the sandwich (just as suggested by the young lady operating Depana). And the sweet corn sauce she recommended was also a good choice.
    They were both friendly and excited to be doing what they're doing. I will definitely go back again!

    They made an off menu vegetarian Pepito that was excellent. Threw together some grillrd veggies, corn plenty of cheese. Would recommend

    Excellent! These are Venezuelan style subs, called pepitos. When you are in Venezuela you find the best in a city called Barquisimeto where this fellas are from! The flavour and the quality of the ingredients is the best. Try the four cheeses! Great and personalized attention! We are definitely coming back!
