El Paso Mexican Grill - Houston

This place is truly amazing. Its family owned. Home made food hand made tortillas. Kids meals place are very big. You get for what you pay for amazing food amazing service. Will be back soon for happy hour.

I was really excited about eating at the new El Paso restaurant. The decor was awesome and they had a solo singer who was pretty good. The people there are super nice. However, the food experience was highly disappointing. Tex-Mex at it's worst and way overpriced. Unfortunately, I won't be returning here.

Came in yesterday for Father’s Day. As soon As I stepped in I was fluttered with hellos and welcoming smiles which definitely started our evening off on the right foot. Our server Jared was very sweet and attentive and even offered to box up our food for us. The margaritas are Amazing and we will definitely be back for their happy hour! Would rate 4 stars because of the long wait time for the food but during such a busy day I don’t think that’s anything unusual. Definitely recommend!

We just tried this new place and so far not disappointed. I really like the atmosphere and the decor. I had the chicken breast with rice and vegetables, and it was pretty good. Everyone has different expectations of food but for me, is not much different from other good Mexican restaurants in the surrounding area. I will definitely return.

Fantastic place!! I love Mexican food, but I do not care for many of the Mexican restaurants around here, as the food and/or service is just not that great in many of them. I believe this place will quickly become our regular place though! The food is really good, especially the grilled chicken meat, very tender and juicy. I love the decor too, it shows that they really did their research prior to opening their first location in Houston, and as a proud Houston-ion I really appreciate the detail that they put into that.

I see some people on here crucifying them for getting an order wrong, but as a new place training new staff that is going to happen sometimes. What matters is their willingness to correct the issue and make the rest of your visit go great, and they have that. The staff are all very friendly and attentive, and the manager comes by to check on you multiple times to make sure everything is okay. My husband and I have already been twice in the short time that they have been open, and the manager even remembered us. I hope they keep this personal touch, because it will definitely keep us coming back!!
