Arlyne, our waitress was really nice. We made a reservation online, but it wasn't packed when we arrived so we were seated immediately. Mimosas were good as well. The chicken and waffles were good, although I was a bit disappointed because they used dark meat and that wasn't specified on the menu. Dark meat is definitely not my preference. Nice size portions, good price and nice vibe. Would come again, but maybe order something.
My wife, daughter and I were originally going to go to a restaurant just across the parking lot, but found Eloise and choose that instead. We were glad! ENG has a great atmosphere, especially if you want to be able to talk without shouting, and listen without giving up and nodding your head in vain. ENG is warm, bright, charming, and the noise level is relatively low. The food is excellent, and not over priced. I highly recommend, especially if you are with adult family members. ENG would be perfect for a date!
Nice spot in Houston, tucked away in Highland Village area. No private room, but still a great spot for a private brunch with a space accommodating approx 20 guest and blocked off by a beautiful curtain which swoops back. The dinner options were delicious in presentation. Must try the carmelized brussel sprouts....I know, I know, everyone has their version, but whew, these had a nice crunch and on point flavor. The shrimp n grits were of a reddish broth garnished with slightly fried okra....was delicious! Don't be afraid of that dish as it's the ultimate Cajun spin and on point. The iron skillet chicken was tasty, served with broccoli and carrots. This place also has a full bar and served us up a nice scotch drink. Mostly, nice ambiance and wonderful staff!!!!

I have enjoyed dining at this place several times since it opened. The bar staff have always been so sweet and engaging. They are great about making any drinks I have ever asked for, even if not familiar with the drink. The food has always been delicious and very fresh. I like the general atmosphere of this establishment. I have dined here with a teenager, work colleagues, and blind dates. Definitely a place that can fit many different dining or drink situations. The parking can be a little tight depending on the time of your visit, though valet is available. I highly recommend. Never been disappointed!!
