This place makes me happy because it's open late and the food is always consistently good. Besides you just can't beat a good hot pot. They give a lot of food for the price. I come here often.
Easily the best dim sum restaurant in Houston. That said they are also a high quality Chinese restaurant. You should go just to see the HUGE lobsters in their tanks. If you are serious about your Chinese and especially dim sum you owe yourself a trip to Fung's Kitchen!
Houston standard in Cantonese fare, their Dim Sum has become a weekend ritual, I day dream about the baked lava buns. Unfortunately, it matters where you sit as to what dishes will pass by, and don't be late, because the choice dumplings get snapped up early. Their Peking Duck is spot on, and they have the seafood in live tanks like a good self-respecting Chinese restaurant.
If I could give more stars I would. This is the kind of place to bring your family take your time go slow and enjoy something new. They have cart service on weekends which will give you an opportunity to try a little bit of everything without trying to figure out the extensive menu. My son absolutely loved everything that he tried and is ready to go back. Everybody at our table was pleased.
More spacious than most Asian restaurants. Clean. Good professional service. We ordered the family dinner plus 2 orders fried rice for each table. Most of the dishes are very good above average. The fried rice is below average, but I'm Asian; I prefer homemade fried rice.
Overall, definitely recommend this place. Boneless chickens are good. The water used for the hot tea is from the faucet so I can smell the chlorine. Little details like this can leave a negative impression of an otherwise good restaurant.
