We tried 5 of the different dumplings they offered. Portions are quite large and very inexpensive. They don't have inside dining and no tables outside which makes it difficult when you want to eat your dumplings right then (we live 50 minutes away). We went down the street to Arthur Storey park instead. There was plenty left over for lunch the day. The dumplings re-heat well on the stove and all were very tasty. I believe this is an all cash restaurant and it's very close to the Beltway, so easy access.
First time here; came by while shopping around in this area (it was cash-only payments). Got pork dumplings and pork-and-shrimp dumplings. Service was good. Waited for 20 minutes for my order to be ready (food should be cooked to order), looking around the surrounding strip mall to pass the time. It was well worth the wait! Dumplings were extremely good and very satisfying. Just what we were hoping for! Will be back again.
This may be my new favorite spot for dumplings! I loved their hot pan-fried dumplings, which we got to-go and were still a great texture and temperature after a 20 min drive home. Also highly recommend getting their frozen dumplings to cook at home next time you're craving some handmade dumplings.
Best dumplings in Houston. Huge portions at a super cheap price. Just remember to bring cash as it is cash only. Well worth the trip to the ATM before going.
It is rare to find dumplings without pork, and this location HIT THE SPOT.
First, the portions are HUGE. The dumplings each are twice the size of the usual I’ve had. Pan fried is delicious, and I would say the steamed dumplings are more flavorful. The chicken dumplings (bottom) were tender, juicy, and flavorful. I tasted corn and other veggies in there also. You get so much for the price!
Other recommendations: The fried onion cakes (top right) are so cheap and complements the dumplings perfectly! The beef fried dumplings (top left) were a hit as well!
PS: don’t forget the chili oil on the side! DELICIOUS!!!
