Golden Wok

I am pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I fully expected some lackluster chinese food, like I normally get from other places. I was soooooo wrong! Ordered the Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Lo Mein, Moo Shoo Chicken, and it was all delicious! It takes a lot for me to give a place 5 stars, but they deserve it. The delivery driver was even great-super courteous and friendly. I will definitely be back!

This was my first time getting food from Golden Wok and I was not disappointed. I ordered my food to-go and it was ready very quickly. They now have sushi so I figured I'd try both their sushi and Chinese food. The California roll was only $3.25 which is unheard of in Houston and it was not only fresh but large and very tasty. The salmon sushi was $1.50 per piece and was delicious. It melted in my mouth like a nice salmon nigiri should. I was extremely impressed with the quality of their sushi.

I have not yet tried the vegetable dumplings or vegetable soup (that also were in my order) but the portion sizes are abundant. 10 steamed dumplings for $4.95 and a large veggie soup in broth for $3.99. Their prices really can't be beat. I also had the sesame shrimp which came with white rice and broccoli. This was $10.95 and enough for two people. The shrimp was the epitome of an oxymoron as they were gigantic!!! Wow! I really can't say enough positive things about Golden Wok. The owner was very friendly and they had my order ready to go quickly. I'm impressed and will definitely be a repeat customer. I highly recommend Golden Wok.

Great lunch specials! General Tso Chicken and Orange Peel Chicken are fantastic.

This place has great food, hands down the best Chinese within about 10 miles.
