Simple Japanese hand rolls with good and fast service. The Brussels sprout was really delicious. Through this restaurant at the back, there used to be a red door to a small cozy hidden bar with lots of Japanese liquor. A nice place to hand out. I had the “Everything lychee” cocktail and it was perfect!
As usual for a Hando - great service and delicious hand rolls! This is their newest location in Houston (Spring Branch) and totally worth checking out. Stylish interior, usual attentiveness of the staff and an adjacent speakeasy/bar!
Delicious food and drinks with exceptional service. I got the 5pc hand roll set; and all were very tasty, but I'd definitely recommend any of the raw fish handrolls - they were perfectly seasoned.
I can eat five of the blue crab hand rolls. We came here for a late dinner and were seated right away. This is their second location and the space was bigger than the Heights location. Very modern and minimalistic interior.
I opted for the 4 piece set but also wanted to add in the toro hand roll. The set comes with spicy tuna, salmon, blue crab, and fried oyster. The set option doesn't allow substitution so you can add in additional hand roll. I have always love the blue crab hand roll but the fried oyster was also really good.
After 4 hand rolls, you will start getting full. I like that they give you a good amount of rice per hand roll so it doesn't overshadow the flavor. Service was friendly and quick. The seats are set up as bar style so may not be ideal for a group. They were nice to let us sit at the corner for our group of 6 so we could talk to each other. I'm glad Hando has opened in SB, it's a great addition.
Love the new location.
It has more seating and the aesthetics is great.
The ocean trout is so good. The special bass was also very amazing. Happy hour menu has some good items to split as well. They still have all the great cocktails and will also have the speakeasy in the back. I didnt take too many photos of the food this time since I was so hungry. Between two people and 3 handrails each and a few dishes from the happy hour spent about 90$ with tip
