Hearsay Market Square used to be my favorite brunch spot but after my recent visit, I don’t think I will go back. The aesthetic and my waitress were amazing but that’s it. There is now $10 valet but that didn’t used to be there. There also isn’t a sign that says it’s $10 so I foresee customers using it thinking it’s complimentary due to no signs indicating price. Also, the valet guy only mentioned price after I asked. For anyone unaware, street parking is free downtown on weekends. They got rid of the bottomless mimosas and now charge $4/mimosa, and tried to tell me that’s cheap. There are plenty of downtown brunch spots who, if they don’t do bottomless mimosas, they have $10/pitcher or carafe. The mimosa at Hearsay was strong but tasted weird. The food isn’t bad but it’s nothing to write home about. There’s nothing that makes Hearsay stand out to me anymore, unfortunately.
Fabulous! This was our first visit, the dinner was just as our server recommend outstanding. We ordered the suggested house wine. The bourbon suggested drinks. We started with the outstanding deviled eggs as appetizer. Our entrees were the seafood pasta, the porkchop dinner and the prime rib french dip. We will be returning for sure.
customer service was splendid and the ambience was nice. Floors are really slippery and when we mentioned it the staff they said “that’s why we don’t wear heels”. My cousin and I were both wearing heels and my cousin had practically fallen coming out of the bathroom. We didn’t take the comment as a slight but management should look into using a different type of varnish for the floors.
Anyways food was tasty we had the poblano soup and a prime rib French dip sandwich with Parmesan fries. The fries were very disappointing the Parmesan was like a dry garnish on top of the fries not mixed thoroughly.
Went there for lunch on Saturday afternoon but they were still serving off of the brunch menu, my only complaint. Other than that, the food was great, service was outstanding. Good drinks, nice atmosphere, highly recommended.
Wonderful ambiance and delicious food. My husband and I went on a Wednesday evening. There was live music to vibe to. At night it is very dimly lit I side with a candle on the table to give off more light. Tables are small but it adds to the intimacy of the space. I highly reccomend for a date night, anniversary, or just a good meal with a friend.
