HIPPO BURGERS

Loved this place since they was in humble tucked off in a small shopping center I was excited when I found out they was opening a location in Jersey village the food is just as good as I remembered and the staff if amazing would highly recommend

Was looking for some good local ma and pa's burger place and I stumble across hippos. Decided to give it a try. The location was a little far and in a weird spot.
Totally worth it. Kids burger was huge. My hippo special was dynamite...the Cajun fries was yummy for my tummy and the wings were on spot...

Burgers are delicious and perfectly cooked!!! Fast and friendly, and food seems to be cooked to order, because it was still very hot when we got home. Their drive thru is open. I hope they stay because the location has struggled to keep people in it in the past. I have a very picky son when it comes his burgers and he wouldnt shut up about how delicious his burger was. They have definitely made me repeat customer.

I’ve been anxiously wanting to try this place for a few week now. I ordered the Hippo Special , I had to wait about 5 minutes for my order, but that’s absolutely fine! I never complain about waiting for hot food!!

I live 4 miles away from Hippo Burger. When I got home my burger was still to hot to eat!! ???? I was definitely impressed by that!!

The only negative thing I have is that The oversalted the fries. I couldn’t even finish them . So if you order fries tell them no salt or light salt

Friendly staff, the burger patties are huge! Pictured is the Hippo burger with Cajun fries. Husband had a burger with sweet potato fries but devoured his before I could take a pic. Their drive thru is open as well. Definitely recommend checking out. They have a quarantine special (2) burgers, (2) fries, (2) drinks for $20.
