    Oh my goodness! HOP is the way I remember! I did travel 40 miles to get pies and they were simply delicious! I may have to freeze my key lime, but OH MY GOODNESS! I was in heaven! Thank you so much for the pies! ❤

    The pies are good, but the big winner for me is the rhubarb/strawberry one, the crust isn't doughy and the contrast of the sweet and tart flavors is great.

    Staff is always friendly and quick! I rarely come in and sit down to eat as I travel a lot, minus the pandemic, so I get to go quite a bit. The food is always scrumptious and exactly what I ordered. This place is a staple of Houston and I will never not go here!

    Flaky, Creamy, Delicious. Those are the three adjectives I would use to describe the slice of heaven that House of Pies calls their Banana Cream Pie. Do not come here if you are looking for the pomp and circumstance that accompanies ambiance and trendy decor--No.. you will not find that. This place only welcomes those who appreciate the quality that is associated with home cooking that is more concerned about the quality of the food, and lest concerned with how "instagrammable" their restaurant looks. 5 Stars all the way!
