Il Me Jung Korean Restaurant

One of my main places to grab something to eat. very good location, well kept, and good service. 5 stars!

Hole in the wall that's packed with goodness. Very confusing, but AKA Il Me Jung Korean Restaurant, Korean BBQ, Dokdo. You know a place is good when the servers don't speak English well and they look like lovable older grandmas. Pricey, but very good. Seafood hot pot was very flavorful and fresh. Kalbi ribs were cut think and very tender. Banchan was fresh and good; there were some dishes that we didn't see elsewhere: boiled pickled daikon and eggplant. Hite beer was reasonably priced at $3.50.

Outstanding spot for korean food. this place does it for me. i had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. this place has a cool design. food is similar to a place in san francisco i loved.

This is the kind of mom and pop place that I love. The food is always distinct because of who is cooking it. I won't spend time speaking to the atmosphere. The building, it is pretty rough, but everything was clean and ordered. The bathroom was clean as well. I ordered a kimchi pancake, one of my favorites, and spicy squid. Everything was super hot and plentiful. My wife went with stir fried pork intestines. She ended up eating more of mine than hers. I think she was really ready to eat and filled up on the pancake and my dish before hers arrived. She was a bit non-committal about her dish, read she didn't like it exactly. I tried it and it was typical to me. Nothing to special. The squid was really flavorful though and I enjoyed it. My wife did as well ?. Overall not a bad little place. I would like to come back and try a few other dishes. I think it was noticeable that several Koreans came in to eat. Normally that is a good sign and I think the place deserves a try.

korean food at this spot - super tasty. Great place to relax, people watch, eat good food or all the above. Prices are reasonable I would say. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I loved.
