INKED Tacos Cullen & Beltway 8

This place is fire. The tacos were great and seasoned exceptionally well. The service was also top shelf. The banana pudding could've been a little thicker. But it still tasted great. The fried twinkie was delicious.

This is a 2-in-1 restaurant and you get both inked tacos and hot chicken. I've tried out the hot chicken sandwich since they had their food truck near midtown so when this location just opened up, we went to go try out the tacos as well. Service is great and the location is nice and spacious. We tried a little of everything and everything was very tasty. The birria tacos, regular tacos and hot chicken were all very good. Even their lemonades and horchata was a good portion. But the best thing was that mango salsa. It was so good I wished they would have sold it!

The food was delicious! Sam took our order and was very friendly! He continued to check on us and make sure everything was good and we had everything we need. The cook in the back was also very nice! He came out to make sure we enjoyed everything! My favorite was the tattoo blue taco and my boyfriend’s favorite was the birria queso taco. The margaritas were also delicious! I also liked that they had a salsa bar so we got to try different salsas. The green one was my favorite. We will definitely be back!!

I saw this place online and it looked interesting, so I decided door das some food from here.

It is actually two businesses in one, along with the Original Hot Chicken, which I’ll review separately. The menu for Inked Tacos is Mexican inspired.
I ordered the Birria Queso tacos, Carne Asada tacos and an extra order of chips and salsa.

The Birria tacos had a great flavor and the consommé sauce was also very good. The Carne Asada tacos were also packed with flavor. The meat had a savory taste and blended well with the onions, cilantro, refried beans, guacamole and Chihuahua cheese. My only critical feedback is that I like my tortillas a little more toasted than they were, but that is just a personal preference. The chips were also very good. There are four salsa flavors. I really liked the mango, mild and medium flavors. Although, I prefer more heat, they still were all very flavorful. Ironically, the hot one was my least favorite. I tried it several times and I didn’t prefer it. Other than that, everything was great.

Although, I did not go to eat in the restaurant in person and therefore cannot speak on the service or ambience, I want to highlight that the food arrived very hot and fresh and was delivered in sealed bags, which I thought was an excellent touch.

Inked tacos is a fantastic option in between fast food and traditional Mexican restaurants. Give it a try and see for yourself.

Food is 2 different chains in wise. One being hot chicken other the inked tacos. Food was savory. Only problem was the hot chicken not being hot but the good taste covered it. Fries where hot and great flavor with the included queso. Waffles where also sweet. Food came out real quick.
