The food is great and they are very accommodating with changes in the menu if you havea preference or allergy. The tapioca is a bit too sweet.
Food isn't horrendous, but isn't great. Many of the menu items (in my opinion) are overpriced for their serving size and quality. Serving sizes for appetizers i.e. rolls, tofu bites are fairly small. Pho and curry dishes cooked at this restaurant are average, and don't quite pop in terms of taste.
The restaurant is semi-self serve, where you order over a counter and have food brought out to you. Dining area at this restaurant is shabby. Cushioned seats and back rests for eating on shoddily cleaned tables. Lighting is also poor.
Might recommend if just looking for a quick bite to eat in the area, but otherwise, could do a lot better for Vietnamese food in Houston if you're a tourist.
And please be careful with belongings in your motor vehicle in the parking lot outside the restaurant; the lot has no surveillance cameras and minimal security guard presence. Vehicles can be highly susceptible to burglary.
The employees hustle here and I totally appreciate that. I like the menu but find it just a smidge pricey for what it is. But Post Oak rent isn't cheap and I understand that. Glad to have some tasty and healthy options in this area.
Great place for a quick tasty meal. If you enjoy Vietnamese food, you will enjoy. The service is great. They are never crowded. Free and plenty of parking.
