JLB Eatery

Decided to try this new burger joint. Ordered the house burger combo. I expected a pretty standard burger. Wow! This may be the most burger for the money I've ever gotten. A giant Angus patty stacked on top of a perfectly cooked chicken breast. Add in fresh avocado and fresh in house made bread and this is one amazing burger. Served with a huge side of awesome fries and a drink all for about 15 bucks. This could easily be two meals for most folks. I should have taken a picture of this monster burger but I was too busy inhaling it :) If you are a burger fan you have to try this place. Is you're not a burger fan they have a pretty extensive menu so I think you'll find something you'll like. Did I mention the burger is served with a fried oreo? Oh yeah, I'll be back.

UPDATE (11/8/2020): so much fatigue to wait for the election results, I didn’t feel like cooking Saturday lunch. So I decided to take out some burgers and fries from JLB. I called ahead so that I didn’t have to wait. It was a quick in-and-out. When I opened the boxes (6 of them) at home, it looked so fantastic. We sampled a quarter per different burgers. Everyone agreed these are indeed the best burgers. Burgers are more like soul foods to me and I felt way better after all. Great job! JLB. Please keep it up.

So much delicious food ! It’s both quality and quantity. My wife and I worked on a JLB burger and still could not finish at once. Next time, I will visit empty stomach ? It’s indeed the best burger in H-town!

I never tried JLB burger before but heard so many good things about them. I finally got to try them and they are just incredible. It tasted better than my husband's grilled burger and that is a big compliment since my husband can grill. The buns were so fresh, soft, and tasty. It turns out they bake them fresh at the store each day. The store was immaculately clean with friendly service. I am so glad to have found such a nice take out place in such a time as these.

Phenomenal. I’d never tried JLB, but feeling a little worried for my budget (and waistline) with this gem so close to home and another location so close to my workplace.

My husband and I went for the soft opening and we were thoroughly impressed with the cheeseburger (that’s all they were serving today, but it was free with a voucher). It’s HUGE and genuinely the juiciest, tastiest burger I’ve ever eaten. Pretty extensive menu that we’re excited to explore, as well
