Sushi was superb! Great quality and fresh. It was a busy Friday night but our dishes came out surprisingly quick. Jessica was attentive and answered all our questions.
My first time here and I was very impressed. Great ambiance and service. Cocktails were exceptional especially the Katami Old Fashioned and Sunomono sour. We had mostly the sashimi and black cod. Chu toro and o toro were divine. Salmon and yellowtail were on point as expected. Barracuda was a little fishy for me. We were too full to try any other dishes, but will be back for them.
I was excited to try this restaurant. I honestly couldn't tell you what all we ordered, but I can tell you that EVERYTHING we ate just melts in your mouth. The uni was so mouth-watering. The truffle lobster mac and cheese didn't seem worth it but it was good (not great). The bread pudding was also really delicious. The service was also spectacular. The ambiance is very modern and chic. Will definitely be back again.
"An absolute revelation in the Houston sushi scene" - this is what kept running through my head as each new course of the omakase came out.
The ambiance is chic and upscale, lively without being loud. Service is top notch and was impressed by the entire wait staff.
The food, well, one of the best sushi experiences I've had outside of Tokyo. Flavor pairings were surprising and delectable, presentation was gorgeous.
All around an incredible experience and I can't wait to go back.
It’s been so long since I’ve been impressed by an upscale Japanese restaurant and I’m extremely picky and snobby about such places. This restaurant easily exceeded my expectations. I went with a friend who I’ve been eating sushi with for over 10 years and her dad is a sushi chef so she’s just as selective as I am but WOW. We ordered a bunch of nigiri and one roll and every piece was delicious. The quality of the fish was phenomenal. Definitely a spot to impress your date if you love sushi. Spare no expense with this restaurant because I feel like it is worth the price compared to other places that claim they have quality sushi. I need to come back and try the hot dishes because I’ve heard those were great as well.
