Kes Spicy 9ja Suya Spot

This place is definitely amongst the best Suya spots in town. I'd crown it King if it weren't for Suya Hut. Even then, the beef Suya here is unlike anything else I've tasted with it's addicting signature smoky flavor. The joloff rice is also very good, and has a unique (smoky) and yet familiar taste. You'd be hard pressed to find joloff that's definitively better. $20 gets you a fairly decent portion of beef suya, although I do wish there was less fat included (one thing I prefer more about Suya Hut with it's use of skewers, in addition to the way they marinate their meat). Owner is a pretty cool guy. First time I went, I ordered late towards closing time, and he actually gave me extra leftover food (rice and chicken) at no additional charge.

Best suya in all of Houston! His party jollof is also fabulously tasty! Let's also talk about his kuli kuli (peanut cake snack), that's one of the best I've tasted (actually the best I've tasted). What tops it up is his amazing customer service. Y'all don't sleep on kes suya!

Lovely place. The suya tastes just like the suya I eat when I go to Nigeria. Big portions and great service. The wiener is very kind and friendly. They have a really nice outdoor seating set-up where you can relax and eat. This is my new suya spot. I’ll definitely use them to cater my events.
