La Guerita Roasted Corn

The food is great, the trailer is clean and well lit. The seating is good and well lit. The prices are fair. I got the corn on the cob empanizado and it was juicy and tasty. The nachos are straight. They have all the fixings if you need more spice. The menu is great. I will be coming back to try the deserts.

Perks- real roasted corn! Has potential but they seem to cut corners so you can spend more $. The only corn id recommend is the one that comes in many layers (picture attached) the esquite was underwhelmed as it only had a topping. Nothing on the bottom but dry roasted corn. Still flavorful but for the price youre better off sharing the big cup that has layers but even with layers you have a huge chunk at the bottom with nothing. The rusa supposedly has fruit (employee confirmed) but i only go maybe 3/4 small pieces. Still the flavor was good but i was better off getting an agua mineral preparada. Our total came out to $46 after the app fees that they pass to the customer. Price is absolutely ridiculous. Its ok for a once in a while treat but i would recommend they make improvements to make this place worth the high prices. Not sure what the language barrier was but when i tried asking the employee questions he didn’t seem educated on his own menu. I speak Spanish so that was confusing… i would give them a try because at the end of the day they aint sellin no canned corn! Beware as they dont supply you with napkins or anything to cover your corn/drink. That was kinda ghetto especially after spending nearly $50 on some corn lol. Thank god we have some we keep stored in the glove department.

My corn was okay. Wish it was more cheese and butter and hot sauce and also maybe layer it because once I ate the top off it was just dry corn. And the corn also had a little burnt taste. Very good spot though very nice guy great service .

Best roasted corn ever!! Succulent, flavorful …can’t stop at one!! Finally getting to try this place after the third attempt to go when it’s open!! Great service and even got an extra one since it was our first time!! I would drive from Northpark again to eat here!!

Really good spot! It’s higher than other places but Worth the price because it’s REAL roasted corn, not that canned stuff. This is the only spot that I can say tastes the way an elote spot should. Tasty corn, not just good toppings! I’ve been back 4 times within the last month since I found out about this place. I’ve lived near copper field for 5 years and it’s about time something like this came about! It’s a gem!
